A brand new knit/lab original lace pattern!
Binding off groups of stitches mid-row creates large spaces in the fabric, resulting in a very open summery shawl. The stitch pattern is reversible, with no right side or wrong side.
The pattern looks complex - but the knitting is easy! Cast on, bind off, yarn overs, simple decreases & knit through the back loop
The sample was knit on 4mm/US6 needles with 1 skein, 700m/765yds of Smudge Yarn Merino Laceweight yarn, colorway Surf
Dimensions of sample: approximately 19in/49cm x 60in/152cm
Gauge: approximately 20 sts and 19 rows = 4in/10cm in lace pattern
The pdf contains both charts and full written instructions.
