A stylish bohemian asymmetric crescent in vibrant colors inspired by the arts and crafts of the early 20th century.
Techniques include short rows, stranding and intarsia.
The pattern is presented in two versions with different needle size, gauge and yarn - Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift and the Fibre Kitchen.
The Jamieson's Spindrift version (above and right) is knit on 3.5mm/US4 needles with approximately 175g/730m/800yds of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift yarn. Colors include 2 x Nighthawk 1020, 2 x Prussian blue 726, 1 each of Mermaid 688, Mirage 722, Rust 578, Flame 271, Buttermilk 179, Plum 585, Fog 272, & small amounts of left overs of other harmonizing colors for the intarsia flower motifs.
Dimensions: approximately 157cm/62in across by 61cm/24in deep
Gauge: approximately 20 sts & 28 rows = 10cm/4ins in stocking stitch
The pdf contains both versions and is a combination of charts and written pattern - the stranded and intarsia sections are charted, and the rest of the pattern (short rows, etc.) is in written form.

The Fibre Kitchen version (below) was knit on 2.75mm/US2 needles with approximately 220g/880m/960yds The Fibre Kitchen 100% superwash merino 4ply/fingering/sockweight yarn, in the colors pictured below. This yarn was the result of a collaboration with local independent dyer, The Fibre Kitchen, and was available for a limited time.
One of each mini skein and one full skein of the MC were required.
The large skein is 100g/400m/437yds, mini skeins are 20g/80m/87yds.
